Here is a little bit about us.
The idea of Manski & Schi was first thought of by its owner Samantha Schimanski in 2015. The market for occasional wear was opening up and it was time for a change of scene, away from the 10 year slog in the mines. Once the opportunity arose she took and developed Manski & Schi, not a shop but a brand that specialises in dressing their clients in any shape or size. And in January 2017 it was launched.
The name Manski & Schi come about from Sam’s last name and changing it around. With a vision to (at some stage) have a menswear, the ‘Manski’ stands for the man and ‘Schi’ represents the womenswear.
The idea was to take on the trending dress hire industry and do a series of pop up shops in other under utilised rural towns where their retail market had also taken the turn for the worse. However, the need to grow the company and staying at home to be with the family has turned to focusing on online sales.
